CDL-A Solo Long Haul Driver Pay & Benefits

  • Average $105,000 annually, with mileage pay based on experience and background.

  • 3,000 miles per week.

CDL-A Solo Driver Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL.

  • Must be at least 22 years old.

  • At least 18 months of verifiable driving experience within the past 3 years.

  • No felony convictions involving a motor vehicle.

  • No DUI/DWI convictions within the past 5 years or ever in a commercial motor vehicle.

  • No serious traffic violations within the past 3 years.

  • No more than 4 jobs in the past 3 years.

Serious traffic violations include reckless or careless driving, hit-and-run, speeding 15+ MPH over the posted limit, improper lane changes, following too closely, and certain license suspensions or revocations.
